Domain Registration Agreement

1. Registration & WHOIS Accuracy

By registering a domain through Hovixa, you agree to provide accurate and current contact information (Name, Address, Email, Phone). Important: Under ICANN regulations, you must verify your email address within 15 days of registration. Failure to verify or providing false information will result in the immediate suspension of your domain.

2. Domain Ownership & Administrative Rights

The person or entity listed as the "Registrant" in the WHOIS database is considered the legal owner of the domain. Hovixa acts only as an intermediary. You are responsible for maintaining your account security to prevent unauthorized transfers. Hovixa is not liable for domain loss due to account compromise or failure to secure your "Auth-Code."

3. Renewals & Expiration

Domain renewals are the sole responsibility of the client. Hovixa will send multiple renewal reminders via email. If a domain expires:

• Grace Period: Most domains have a 30-day grace period where they can be renewed at the standard rate.
• Redemption Phase: After the grace period, domains enter "Redemption," where the registry charges a significant recovery fee (typically $80–$150 USD) to restore the domain.
• Deletion: If not recovered, the domain will be released to the public for anyone to register.

4. Domain Transfers

Newly registered domains are subject to a 60-day transfer lock imposed by ICANN, during which they cannot be moved to another registrar. To transfer a domain out of Hovixa, your account must be in good standing, and you must request an "EPP/Auth-Code" via the Client Area.

5. Dispute Resolution (UDRP)

You agree to be bound by the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP). If a third party claims your domain infringes on their trademark, the dispute will be handled by an ICANN-approved arbitrator. Hovixa does not mediate these disputes and will comply with any legal order to lock or transfer a domain resulting from a UDRP proceeding.

6. ICANN Rights & Responsibilities
